This week sees a couple of new arrivals from West City Brewing, gypsy brewers from Melbourne's west side. It's good to be able to share such good beers with the rest of Australia, we're really enjoying these ones and can't wait to see what's next down the beer lines for West City.
First up is Footscray Ale, a nice sessionable Pale Ale with a good balance of hops and malt. Fruity and fresh on the nose with a good piney resinous bitterness to keep it interesting.

There's also a session stout on offer, the Oaty Session Stout. Oatmeal, stout, session, it's all in the name. Full of roasted chocolate flavours, it's satisfying and rich, but balanced enough to keep you coming back for more.
